To work with various teams in delivering services to Medway Council tenants and leaseholders.

 

To develop a wide range of skills and experience in social housing.

 

 Tasks that will be undertaken within this role are:

 

  • Data inputting
  • Scanning
  • Filing
  • Updating of systems
  • Email inbox monitoring
  • Maintenance of databases
  • Telephone answering

 

To develop:-

 

  • A working knowledge of housing and tenancy management including
  • Housing repairs and improvements
  • Asset Management
  • Letting properties
  • Rent and rent arrears
  • block and estate inspections

 

A working knowledge of the Council’s Housing Department ICT software packages, and the Microsoft office suite.

 

An understanding of data protection law and best practise

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic HRA Housing Apprentice to join the HRA team within the Housing Service.

 

Ideally you will have good communication and interpersonal skills, combined with competent IT skills, accurate data entry along with a good attention to detail. However we are happy to support you to reach those goals if you are highly motivated and have the desire to learn and succeed.
