This is an exciting time to be joining our 0-25 disability service as a Senior Practitioner. We have made significant investment in our services to achieve manageable caseloads. The service covers the full range of statutory social work with children who are disabled, including children in need, child protection and court work.

You will be responsible for working and managing a complex caseload delivering high quality casework to disabled children and disabled young adults to achieve positive outcomes. You will be provided with a Microsoft Surface Pro and mobile phone to support mobile working.

You will also be responsible for the practice of student social workers on placement within the team.

We have also formed a partnership with the Centre for Systemic Social Work to provide comprehensive and accredited systemic training to support our social workers achieve the best experience of relationship based social work for our children and families.

You should hold a degree in social work, together with extensive post qualifying experience and be qualified to Practice Educator stage 2.
