ICT Asset Management Officer

We are recruiting for an ICT Asset management Officer who will manage and monitor all
Technical assets from procurement to disposal, on behalf of the council, ensuring that internal
procedures, legislation and licensing requirements are adhered to.
You would be required to develop and implement the ICT asset management strategy from
procurement to disposal, ensure that it is communicated across the ICT service, updated and
adhered to. To manage and monitor corporate hardware and software licences procured by
the ICT service, including the asset management of licences in liaison with other departments
within the ICT service. This will include all hardware licences.
You would be required to manage ICT store activities and manage / administer the mobile
phone contracts including purchasing, transferring between suppliers (PAC codes) Assist
when appropriate with training and advising employees in relation to IT equipment and it’s
- Educated to A level or NVQ level 3, with a particular emphasis on English and mathematics or equivalent.Essential Experience:
- Experience in the management of software licences within a medium to large ICT environment.
