Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO)
An opportunity has arisen for a LADO to work in our Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Service. Reporting to the LADO and Education Safeguarding Manager, you will contribute to the operation of a professional consultation service, providing advice and information to staff within Medway Council and partner agencies and organisations regarding allegations management, safer recruitment and employment.
You will also contribute to training and awareness raising for staff across all agencies and organisations in Medway on allegations managements and safe workforce issues.
As a registered social worker with HCPC you will have a recognised social work qualification as well as a minimum of 5 years’ post qualifying experience,
