Medway Public Health is looking to recruit a highly motivated, innovative and dynamic Programme Manager to ensure effective delivery of a number of Health Improvement Services. The postholder will coordinate the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of a broad portfolio of evidence-based projects, which will include the NHS Health Check programme. These multidisciplinary projects support the achievement of national targets relating to cardiovascular disease prevention, preventing ill health and reducing health inequalities.

This is a challenging, but rewarding role where you will see evidence of the difference you make to residents lives. Public Health aims to improve the health outcomes for those that engage in our programmes, reduce health inequalities and promote lifestyle services within the area.

As Programme Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the services within the roles remit meet the needs of the local population. You will achieve this by leading innovative teams based in various settings in the local community. You will drive performance and the standards of the interventions you manage so they contribute to national targets, whilst developing our offer to deliver best value to residents.

You must be a non-smoker with a full UK driving licence enabling you to travel throughout the Medway area and occasionally further afield in a timely manner. The role will require some evening and weekend work.
