An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Area Social Work Manager to work in our Early Help and First Response. You will be responsible for providing leadership to the team and continuing to drive forward high quality practice across the children and family hubs.

You will be able to establish and maintain effective multi agency partnership links to promote an integrated and joined up approach to working with high risk and/or complex families, and manage the referral and assessment process conducted by the team. You will also put in place the necessary mechanisms to support collaborative outcome focused working with joint service development through universal, targeted and statutory agencies with a particular focus on group work at our hubs and well-being centres.

As a registered social worker you will have significant post qualifying experience of working with children and families, together with experience of providing expert supervision and management support. You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge or Early Help thresholds and an understanding of Early Years (and School readiness agenda).
