Medway Adult Education is recruiting for a Pottery/Creative Arts technician to work a minimum of 5-hours per week.
The technicians work alongside tutors, as well as independently to help prepare resources, materials and rooms ready for lessons, across all creative subjects and assist with the setting up of exhibitions. The work will mostly take place at the Rochester Community Hub, although it will include some support for workshops in other partner venues across Medway.
Applicants should have a good general level of education to GCSE or equivalent, a current Emergency First Aid certificate and demonstrable experience of working within a pottery studio and an awareness of the equirements of an pottery studio and storage methods.
An HND in a creative arts subject, or equivalent, would be an advantage.
