The IAG Team provide careers information, advice and guidance to young people and their families in Medway. We provide free support to young people aged 16-18 years (up to 25 years with an EHCP, who need help to access education, training and employment opportunities. We support with all areas of career searching and assist with career planning. This support is offered in a number of ways, including face to face, online and collaborative working. The IAG Team is also responsible for reporting NEET statistics to the DfE.

Are you passionate about supporting young people? Are you dedicated to enabling to young people to achieve positive progressions? We are seeking an excellent individual, with experience of working with young people in a careers related capacity, has good knowledge of provisions in Medway and thinks in a creative way to enable young people to achieve positive outcomes. Has excellent IT skills and confident with using databases.

This position will be responsible for contributing to DfE Targets, working with a caseload of young people supporting EET statuses, using social media as a means of communication and promotion, working with partners and internal teams to support young people.

A minimum of Level 4 in information and Advice and Guidance is desirable and you must be willing to work towards a Level 6.

Excellent communication skills is essential.
