An opportunity has arisen for an Area Based Social Work Manager to join our Childrens Safeguarding Service. We have made significant investment in our service to achieve manageable caseloads and provide each social work pod with dedicated administrative support. In addition we provide all our social workers with a Microsoft Surface Pro and mobile phone to support mobile working.

You will be directly responsible for managing and overseeing the performance of an area team with direct line management responsibility of four Practice Managers.

As a qualified and registered social worker with HCPC, you will have significant experience in providing effective reflective supervision and support to Practice Managers and ensuring that professional standards are upheld across the team.

You will also have a recognised post qualification in social work qualification and a management qualification (equivalent to ILM level 5).
