Medway Council Housing Services are looking for two Apprentices to join the Housing Services Team and learn a wide range of skills in housing and tenancy management, whilst helping the team provide excellent services to Medway Council tenants.

An opportunity has arisen for two motivated and enthusiastic people to to join the Housing Services Team as Housing Apprentices. This is a great chance to gain a qualification whilst working for the Housing Services Team that provide a wide range of tenancy services to Council tenants.
As part of this role you can expect to undertake the following tasks:
- Data inputting
- Updating of systems
- Email inbox monitoring
- Maintenance of database
- Using the council finance systems
- Responding to customer queries via telephone or email
Ideally you will already have good communication and interpersonal skills, combined with competent IT skills, and a good attention to detail. However we are happy to support you to reach those goals if you are highly motivated and have the desire to learn and succeed.

These two apprentice roles will cover all aspects of the work of the Housing Management Team. Initially, one will be part of the Tenancy Team, working on a wide range of tenancy management issues and the other will be in the Income Management Team, focussing on supporting tenants to make sure the rent is paid.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate experience or an understanding of all requirements as listed in the job profile.
