We are looking for a Parenting Practitioner to join our Early Help and Targeted Services Team. The post holder will be supervised by the Lead Parenting Practitioner and will deliver evidence based parenting programme’s such as Incredible Years and ADHD and Teen Triple P.

The post must be able to deliver group based sessions and one to one parenting interventions where appropriate to parents. The post will support the Lead Parenting Practitioner with managing referrals to the service and coordinating the delivery of parenting programmes. The post holder will also evaluate parenting programmes and ensure the upkeep of relevant data.

The post holder will support effective links between relevant agencies in Medway, including the Youth Offending Team, Children’s Services, parenting skills programmes, Early Years, local health services and other relevant agencies and support the wider Early Help agenda.

The post will promote good understanding amongst staff in those agencies about the value of the parenting provision in tackling matters such as anti-social behaviour, families at risk and contributing to other social and community objectives.
