Advanced MSCB Apprentice
The Medway Safeguarding Children Board (MSCB) is seeking to recruit a full time apprentice to join our busy team.
The MSCB is set up under the Children Act 2004. It co-ordinates how agencies work together to safeguard and protect children, and monitors how well they are doing. The MSCB is made up of senior professionals from partner agencies such as Kent Police, Medway Council, schools and health agencies.
The MSCB apprentice will help support the day to day administration of the board with a focus on supporting the various learning and development opportunities offered by the MSCB including small training events to larger multi agency conferences. The role is largely office based although the apprentice will have the opportunity to attend and minute multi agency meetings and network with a wide range of professionals in different positions from a variety of services.
We will provide support and induction training for those appointed and other training opportunities, which will enable our apprentice to increase their skills and understanding of issues affecting the safeguarding of children. To find out more about the MSCB visit www.mscb.org.uk
