An opportunity has arisen for a new team of motivated and enthusiastic Children’s residential short break support worker Apprentices to join the Children’s the Short Break Service. This is a great chance to gain the Children, young people and families practitioner level 4 apprenticeship working for the Short breaks team where the overall aim is to ensure that an improved and increased choice of flexible short break/ respite services is available to those who need them; enabling children and young people with additional needs, and their families to live happy and fulfilled lives. You will be an integral part of our short breaks provision for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, working closely with a dedicated team to provide high-quality care and support. Your role will involve creating positive and enriching experiences for the children from outdoor adventures to creative indoor pursuits. You will support and encourage participation, fostering a sense of enjoyment and achievement, helping them to develop essential life skills, and empowering them to reach their full potential.
