We are recruiting for a Team Manager to join our newly developed Multi Disciplinary Service - Specialist Assessment Team.

You will lead, coach and support a team of Social Workers and other professionals to deliver specialist assessments and interventions to families where children are subject to pre-proceedings or proceedings under Public Law Outline. The children in these families will be case managed by other teams in Medway Children Services and the Specialist Assessment team will offer bespoke assessments and interventions to these families

You will be a qualified Social Worker with post qualifying training and experience of performance management.

Successful candidates will have completed the PAMS and CUBAS training, or if not must be willing to complete.

Contributing to delivering the council vision for Children’s Social Care, you will ensure objectives and priorities are met and will develop effective partnership working with other council services and partner agencies.
